Olympic Sculpture Park

Olympic Sculpture Park sits at the north end of the piers and downtown area of Seattle. It is a sloping park with a wide ramp that crosses the freeway. The ramp leads up to the SAM's Visitor's Center with many spots to stop and take in views along the way. Above, a Volkswagon Westfalia (another obsession/pictorial theme of the trip) and some sculptural planters parked in front of those crazy kids at the Art Institute's Seattle Campus.
Said big ol' ramp.
It's me!
Large red sculpture thing with matching chairs which I like because it is kind of like a ship's anchor and kind of like those big crane unloady-things all over the bay.
Claus Oldenburg!
Next to an overpass!
I like this.
And this.
For Thomas.
If only it were that simple.
Wallpaper.
There are lots of big ass crows in Seattle for some reason. Not those puny little grackles. More like Quoth-the-Raven.
In the future, all trees will be made of metal.
These are benches. Naked man-boy sculpture in the background.
