Seafood

The fish market at Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA. This is my first effort at shooting RAW and editing a series in Photoshop.

Tugboat

I just like tugboats, because they are small and mighty and can tow things that are much larger. How do they do that?

Paradise Wildflowers

Here are some more shots of wildflowers from Paradise at Mount Rainier. I condensed the original post to showcase these guys.

Just A Sign That I Like

From a roundabout in Seattle. I just like it.

Obsession

Here are some shots from the sailing vessel obsession that I in my wisdom forgot to publish with the other Seattle pics.

Skid Row

It is said that the term "Skid Row" originated in Seattle. In the olden days, loggers would "skid" their giant lumbars on wooden tracks from the forests all the way down to cargo ships awaiting in the bay. A bustling commercial region soon sprang up near the waterfront, catering to lumberjacks who had just received pay for jobs completed. Some of these businesses, of course, were more salacious than others, and some of them still are!

Chai House

Our last stop in Seattle was the Chai House in Ballard.
There was a singer-songwriter, and I sat next to a cute dog.
After that it was time to go back home and miss Seattle.
This is the last photo of the Seattle set. It is simple and one of my favorite photos.

Paseo

This is Paseo. They serve good sandwiches out of a pink building wearing (for some reason) ties.
This is the tofu sandwich; it goes in my mouth.
Paseo is located right next to a surf shop across from the water. I don't know anything about surfing but this seemed like a good day for it.
