Morning coffee at Anse Chastenet. As I recall it was quite good.

Espresso Vivace and Cute Dogs
We went to Espresso Vivace's little outdoor stand on Broadway in Capitol Hill. There were many cute dogs.

It's in the gayborhood.
It was good.

Caffe Vita
Ok, people. Mid-trip breakdown was in full swing at this point.
Thomas, I love you and I'm sorry.
I get overexcited about trips and then experience total emotional-blowout backlash.
Plus I am a horrible person. It was a great trip. I will try to chillax next time.It was pretty good. I like the clown. I think this was the point in the trip when I started to realize I was only going to be able to drink so much espresso in four days.

Fremont Coffee Company
I like the Fremont Coffee Company because, if you know me, you know that I like things that are in things that used to be houses. Like this place. A coffee roaster in a place that used to be a house. Love it.
Thomas didn't want to eat here because he wanted a real breakfast, whatever that is (apparently coffee doesn't count as food? Craziness).
I think they win for prettiest coffee. Pretty good too.
Extra points for eight-ball placement.

Uptown Espresso
A cute little nicely located spot, right on the docks next to the sculpture park and naked man-boy statue.
Pretty chalk drawingks. The barista liked my shirt. Dolla tip for you.
Yay coffee.

Caffe Ladro
Now this is a subject that I definitely am going to have to research more thoroughly, but initial findings reveal that Caffe Ladro was definitely my favorite Seattle coffee shop. It's true that my sample size was small and my sample was not random, however, initial evidence strongly hints at the possibility that this is one of Lindsay's happy places.
This shop was located in downtown, downstairs from the Traver Gallery (see later post).
They have a gold Buddha.
Caffe Ladro sells all fair trade organic coffee--of which, I am, A sucker, for. It was also my favorite to drink (single shot tall americano with soy. See previous statement about being a sucker.) In technical terms, I thought it was really really tasty and good. Lots of flavor with out being acidic. However, we are in the process of assembling a focus group of Lindsays to confirm these results.
I agree.
