In recent years, Bushes have gotten a bad rep. Here's one to change your mind people. This little beaut lives right next to my driveway. Once a year for about two weeks it's covered in the sweetest-smelling white blooms. The scent is like Plumeria. I wish it lasted all year. I wish I knew what it was! PS don't try to eat them.
This wildflower-scouting expedition yielded plenty of Queen Anne's Lace (we have fields of it up), strangeness, and a dove on a wire looking at corn.
Finally, I have to put some of this stuff I've been growing to use. The ingredients: green onions, carrot (plus tops), and fava beans.
